Update
We have been really enjoying summer. Here are a few pictures of our family enjoying time together. The picture of the three boys was taken while I was away at Youth Conference. I think they like to have a lot of fun while I am gone. They can enjoy that again, while I am away at Girls Camp next week. This time for 4 and 1/2 days instead of 2. I am excited though. It will be a lot of fun.
I sure love summer and spending time with my family, and I love seeing the boys grow up. This is the first time that Jackson has fully ran into the water at Gateway. The Bees game was also the first time we have taken the boys to a baseball game. They ate a lot of hotdogs, popcorn, and had a grand ol time!
We went to the Bees game for Paul’s birthday. The boys had a lot of fun! It was nice to get out and do something different.

4th of July
We had a great 4th of July. We invited some of our close friends to join us at Paul’s sister’s house for a bbq. It was fantastic. They had swimming for the kids, a TON of food, and a TON more fireworks. They seriously put on the best firework show. They had atleast 4 fountains going for 45 minutes straight. It was awesome!!! Eli however, didn’t think it was awesome. After about 10 minutes, he got freaked out, and me and him enjoyed the fireworks out the window of my sister in law’s house. Oh well, atleast Jackson, our friends, and Paul were able to enjoy the fireworks!Haircuts!
I am a huge fan of the short hair look, and Paul is a fan of the long haired look. So we have been letting the boys’ hair get long. However, after realizing how big my kids’ heads look, and how much Eli sweats, I told Paul he had until the end of the week to cut the boys’ hair or I was taking them in to Supercuts. That night while I was at Young Womens, Paul cut the boys hair! Don’t they look so cute!!!Jackson is 4!!
A few days ago was Jackson’s birthday! I can’t believe that he is 4! Where does the time go. This year for Jackson we decided to throw a party. He has started figuring out that playing with friends is a lot of fun. So we invited a few of his friends over for a party, and also included my niece and Eli. That way we could just have one giant party! So we decorated the house with Star Wars, and Spiderman decorations, since Jackson is all about action heroes, got a pinata, an Indiana Jones cake, and had ourselves a party! It lasted for about an hour and a half. The perfect amount of time with 6 boys, and 2 girls running around your house, all close to the age of 4. We played a spiderman pin the sticker on the “dudes” as Jackson calls them, busted open a pinata, opened presents, had cake and ice cream, gave everyone a spiderman mask, sent them outside to jump on the tramp, WONDERFUL birthday party!!! Paul luckily worked from home that day and took time out to help with the party! What a wonderful man I have. It was fun. Jackson was really cute. Still can’t believe my baby is 4!
That morning when he woke up I started to sing, “happy birthday” to him and he said, “mom, it isn’t my birthday until my party!” What a cutie. After the party, a few hours later, I did the same thing. Started singing to him. He then said, “Mom, my birthday is over because my party is over!” So cute!! I just love him. We did go out for pizza as a family for dinner! What a wonderful day.
Jackson is growing up so fast. He is such a wonderful child. He is sensitive, and sweet, loves to be with his family, of course loves to play with his friends. He loves to sing songs he learns in primary and preschool. He loves to play games, and play sports. I am so lucky to be his mother!!!
