Lagoon
This past Saturday, Paul and I took Jackson to Lagoon with my brother and sister in law and my neice. It is something we have done for the past two years. We haven’t brought Eli yet because he is still little, plus it is always nice for Jackson to have mom and dad time. We had a blast. It was soo hot! But as you can see from this picture, Jackson had so much fun riding the rides, and eating the yummy food. What a fun day we had.

This picture is too cute! This is my sister’s bunny. He loved it.
Eli Funny
I just have to write this down so I won’t forget it in the future. I have decided I am too boring when it comes to my hair. I usually leave it down, and some days I curl it and some days I don’t. Well whenever I want to pull my hair back into a ponytail or at night in some messy bun, Eli FREAKS out!!! He cries hysterically until I take my hair out of whatever concoction I put it in. He will seriously stop crying the second my hair is out, and then he will run his fingers through it. We can’t decide what he thinks when I pull it back. But it will be morning, noon, or night and if I do that, instant hysteria. What a funny kid!
When we were in Boise last weekend, my mom arranged for us to have family photos taken. This is one of our family. I think it turned out really well. It did help that Uncle Troy was jumping behind the photographer and making funny faces to help get the boys to cooperate!!!

Jackson was the VIP at preschool last week. This is the poster he made with his dad. As you can tell, he was soo excited to be the VIP.
A fun activity we have done outside. Paint rocks
Warm Weather, Trip to Boise
So Summer finally hot over the weekend. FINALLY! I have enjoyed the fact that my boys LOVE to play outside the past few days. I think we were outside yesterday for 8 hours straight. They did not want to come in.
Paul and Jackson went to Malad over the weekend. They went and visited a friend of Paul’s and his son. They went fishing and Jackson caught a fish. So proud of him. He just loves life. Eli and I had a fun weekend. All we did was play outside. We did a lot of swinging and chasing airplanes. This is Eli’s new favorite activity. He sees an airplane in the sky and gets so excited, then he runs the length of our yard until he can’t see the airplane anymore, then yells bye bye to the airplane. We usually have an airplane flying over us every few minutes so he stays pretty entertained. I just love how kids find joy in the simplest acts.
In two days, the boys and I are headed off to Boise becuase my brother, Troy, is coming home from his LDS Mission! I am soooo excited. Jackson is too, even though he wasn’t even two yet when he left. He keeps saying how Uncle Troy is a fun dude. Eli was only 6 weeks old when Troy left, and I am excited for his relationship to grow with his uncle. I also can’t wait to see my brother!!!! Paul will be coming to Boise Thursday night and we will have a fun weekend hanging out with my family!
